What is a private tour ?

A Private Tour is a tour that is an individual tour for you and those in your group. We will not put others in your group, but each portion is provided for you and you alone. Each of our tours is escorted by a professional English speaking driver who will show you Morocco through his eyes. Your driver is there to serve you and allow you to enjoy the tour at your pace and focusing on your areas of interest.

How do I secure my booking ?

In order to begin the reservation process, we require a deposit of 30% from the total amount. Once we have received this deposit, we begin the reservations for the hotels and transportation. The remaining balance can be paid to your driver upon pick up from your Hotel/Riad

How do you accept payment ?

We accept payment either by bank transfer or by direct transfer via Western Union. We will provide you by the payment informations once you decide to book. If you choose the bank transfer payment method, please note that you will be asked to send us by email a copy of the transfer receipt.

Do you accept online payment ?

Unfortunately we can't accept it for the moment. Online transfers and paypal are not available in Morocco. Our team is trying to resolve this issue. Please note you can send us money by Western Union via their online service.

What is included with my private driver ?

The cost of the private driver is all inclussive, except for his tip. Our tours cover the fuel, lodging, food, tolls, and expenses of the driver during his time with you. We do ask that you leave a tip for his services. Even on the free days, your driver will be available to serve you. We will send you the driver's name and contact information a few days before the tour in case you must contact him for any reason.

What type of vehicles do you use ?

Most of time we use land cruiser (4x4) Toyota prado. This vehicle comfortably holds 6 people including lugagge and is eqipped with seat belts and air-conditioning. For those wishing for a slight upgrade, we offer the Mercedes Vito. This van is more luxurious; offering individual seats for each passenger. For those wishing to save some money, we can offer the Dacia Logan holding 3 - 4 people.

Do you offer airport transfers ?

For those wishing to save a little money, we do offer airport transfer to / from the hotel. A driver will meet you at the airport with your name sign and take you to the appropriate destination. This driver will not be available for any other services during the day except the transfer. Pricing on airport transfers range from $0 - $40 depending on seasons.

What's happen if there is a reduction in group size ?

If some member or members of a private tour party cancel, the increased unit cost to run the tour for the reduced number of members will be calculated. The increase in cost per person will need to be covered by the remaining travelers or the cancelling member(s).

What is Top Desert concellation policy ?

  • Before 10 days before your Tour : Refund 50% of your deposit
  • 10 - 0 days before your Tour : No refund

What kind of concellations exists ?

  • Security Concellations : Top Desert reserves the right to cancel any tour at any time if we feel that the safety of the travelers may be compromised.The refund of all payments received constitutes a full settlement
  • Emergency Cancellations : Foreign governmental decisions resulting in our inability to provide the tour as anticipated may have to result in tour cancellations. We reserve the right to cancel a tour if the currency exchange has more than a 25% impact on the price; in which case we may cancel and refund all payments received to date or offer to provide the tour at the new exchange rate. If we are unable to provide the tour for other unforeseeable reasons or emergencies we will refund all payments received to date as a full settlement.
