But if you want to maximize your Sahara desert stay, it’s better to go with the 5 days version of this Marrakech desert tour. If you don’t have enough time 3 days will be doable. In this case, the last day will involve around 9 hours of driving with some stops on your way back to Marrakech.
Day 1: Marrakech - Glaoui Kasbah - Ait Benhaddou Kasbah - Ouarzazate - Skoura - Dades Gorge
Our driver will meet you at your riad or hotel in Marrakech at 8:00 AM. Your trip will be aboard a private air conditioned vehicle. You will leave Marrakech to your first day destination which is Dades Gorge. You will drive through Tizi n’Tichka Pass, one of the best scenic drives in Morocco. You will stop in a very panoramic view to enjoy a hot mint tea. You will continue your desert tour to Erg Chebbi via a lot of Berber villages. Your next stop in Telouet village to discover the Glaoui Kasbah. After this, you will head to Ait Benhaddou Kasbah. Lunch will be in Ait Benhaddou Village or in Ouarzazate depending on your choice. The journey continues through Rose Valley to finally reach Dades Gorge where you will spend the night.

Day 2: Dades Gorge - Todra Gorge - Erfoud - Erg Chebbi dunes
You will leave your hotel right after breakfast. Your next destination today is Erg Chebbi dunes near the Merzouga village. You will pass by plenty of Berber villages. By the late afternoon, you will arrive at the dunes where you will ride camels, watch the sunset from the top of the dunes and spend the night in our desert camp there. At night, you will enjoy Berber music around the fire under stars. You will then enjoy your dinner at the camp. You will sleep in your private tent.

Day 3: Erg Chebbi dunes
You can spend today as you wish. You can for example go for a camel trek for the day. You can visit Berber villages around. You can spend the morning in sandboarding and the afternoon in camel trekking. You can do some ATV if you wish (extra). You can just stay at the camp and relax in the tranquility of the Sahara desert.

Day 4: Erg Chebbi dunes - Agdz - Ouarzazate - Marrakech
Right after watching sunrise from the top of the dunes and breakfast, you will leave the Sahara desert and Erg Chebbi dunes back to Marrakech. You will drive through different route until Ouarzazate. You will explore Agdz and Draa Valley. You can at any time ask your driver to stop somewhere you like, to enjoy fresh air or to take some photos. The desert tour will end by the end of the day at your Riad or hotel in Marrakech.
